The NeuroPort™ Neural Signal Processor is a highly configurable, easy-to-use, multichannel data acquisition system. It gives researchers the power and flexibility to implement real-time control strategies for restoring function. The NeuroPort has become the industry standard for brain-computer interface recording and stimulation in humans since 2004.

The Cerebus Neural Signal Processor is a highly configurable, easy-to-use, multichannel data acquisition system for animal neurophysiology experiments.

The CerePlex Direct is a cost-effective data acquisition system that delivers an unprecedented low-noise neural signal recording in a simple, plug-and-play package.

cbMEX is a MATLAB^® API that allows real-time interaction with Blackrock Neuroport, CereBus, and CerePlex Direct Biopotential Recording Systems. Users can launch cbMEX alongside Central, Blackrock’s biopotential acquisition and visualization software suite. This configuration provides users unparalleled capabilities to visualize and fine-tune their recordings in real time through Central, all while using cbMEX within a MATLAB environment to save data programmatically, process signals for neuroprosthetic applications, and generate analog and digital outputs for interactions with third-party equipment. cbMEX allows users to open a UDP socket to communicate directly with their Blackrock recording system for low-latency performance.
