Description

The ACOPOS servo drive family is a core component of B&R's integrated automation solutions. Industry-specific functions and intuitive tools provide the foundation for shorter development times. Important criteria for the performance of an automation solution is a fast and precise reaction to events dependent on the application or immediate changes in the production process. This is exactly why ACOPOS servo drives work with extremely short sampling and communication cycles of 400 µs, cycles that are reduced even further to 50 µs in the control loop itself.

ACOPOS drives are renowned for their advanced features and capabilities, such as exceptional position, speed and torque control, versatility with motor types and power levels, and robustness in harsh environments, making them advantageous in a wide range of industrial automation applications.

The ACOPOS Library for Simulink is a specialized software tool designed to simulate and parameterize ACOPOS drive controls within the Simulink environment. The library is a Simulink blockset with parameterized blocks for the ACOPOS servo drive and a B&R synchronous servo motor. This simplifies the process of developing and implementing control algorithms for machines, allowing engineers to easily model, simulate, and implement complex drive systems, making it an invaluable and time-saving tool for system design and optimization.
