Description
OLEA® is Silicon Mobility’s solution that is designed to control electric motors and energy converters of hybrid and electric vehicles. OLEA solves software bottleneck issues in the power flow control in hybrid and electric vehicles. OLEA reduces power losses and consequently increases the battery range by a factor of 30+%. The OLEA solution provides integrated hardware and software components, including OLEA FPCU, OLEA COMPOSER, and OLEA LIB.
OLEA T222: The first Field Programmable Control Unit (FPCU) automotive qualified solution. FPCU is a new semiconductor architecture defined as a combination of the hardware flexibility of the AMEC® real-time control unit with the software flexibility of a standard processor into a single chip surrounded by SILant® functional safety. OLEA T222 FPCU performance offers several orders of magnitude improvements when compared to conventional solutions: a 40x boost in computational performance, resulting in a 20x faster hard real-time response; 100% faster deterministic acquisition-to-actuation processing time, a 1000x reduction in reaction time to faults, and reduction of power consumption at control level by a factor of 180x.
OLEA COMPOSER: A seamless development and calibration framework for best use of OLEA technologies. Generate coherent and simultaneous .C and .HDL from model to hardware.
OLEA LIB: A library of advanced software optimized for OLEA and dedicated to the control of hybrid (HEV) and electric vehicles (EV). OLEA LIB is packaged into three levels of integration, which is selectable upon the application needs.
Using MATLAB®, Simulink®, MATLAB® Coder™, Simulink® Coder™, Embedded Coder® allows customers to develop with Model-Based Design and automatically generate C for the FPCU software, and with HDL Coder™, generate HDL for FPCU hardware processing.
