Description

The Communication interface parameter selects the transport layer that external mode uses to exchange data between the host computer and the target hardware.

TCP/IP (default) | XCP on TCP/IP

The Communication interface parameter selects TCP/IP or XCP on TCP/IP as the transport layer that external mode uses to exchange data between the host computer and the target hardware.

Select Communication Interface

In the Simulink^® Editor, select Simulation > Model Configuration Parameters.
In the Configuration Parameters dialog box, click Hardware Implementation.
Set the Hardware board parameter to Altera Cyclone V SoC development kit and click Apply.
The parameter values under Hardware board settings are automatically populated to their default values.
Set the Feature set for selected hardware board to Simulink or Embedded Coder Hardware Support Package and click Apply.
From the External mode group, select a Communication interface from the drop down list and click Apply.
Click OK to close the dialog box.
