DSP System Toolbox Support for ARM Cortex-M Processors

Generate optimized code for DSP System Toolbox™ blocks and System objects

The Embedded Coder^® Support Package for ARM^® Cortex^®-M Processors supports optimized C code generation for DSP System Toolbox blocks and functions. To generate this optimized code, you must install the DSP System Toolbox.

Using this support package, you can generate C code that can link with the CMSIS library functions. This generated code can be compiled to provide optimized executables that run on ARM Cortex-M processors.

You can also port the generated ARM Cortex-M CRL code from MATLAB^® to KEIL μVision IDE and IAR Embedded Workbench. For details, see Port the Generated ARM Cortex-M CRL Code from MATLAB to KEIL μVision IDE and Port the Generated ARM Cortex-M CRL Code from MATLAB to IAR Embedded Workbench.

Code Generation for Sound Classification on ARM Cortex-M Targets using CMSIS-NN

Demonstrates code generation for acoustics-based machine fault recognition using a long short term memory (LSTM) network and spectral descriptors. This example uses Embedded® Coder™ with deep learning support to generate a processor in the loop (PIL) executable function that leverages C code which is then deployed on ARM Cortex-M™ hardware. The input data consists of acoustics time series recordings from a faulty or healthy air compressors and the output is the state of the mechanical machine predicted by the LSTM network.
