Value of the MATLAB®
eps variable
Description
Call mxGetEps to return the value of the MATLAB
eps variable. This variable holds the distance from 1.0 to the next
largest floating-point number. As such, it is a measure of floating-point accuracy. The
MATLAB
pinv and rank functions use eps as a default tolerance.
