Description

stateflow opens the Simulink^® template page for Stateflow^®. From this page, you can select one of several common chart types, including models that contain:

An empty Stateflow chart
A Stateflow chart with two states
A Stateflow chart with nested states
A Stateflow chart that uses Moore semantics
A state transition table

R2024a: Creating models and opening block library no longer supported

The stateflow function opens the Simulink template page for Stateflow instead of creating an untitled Simulink model and opening the Stateflow block library.

To create a model that contains an empty chart block, use the sfnew function. To open the Stateflow block library, use the sflib function.

R2019b: Creating models and opening block library will no longer be supported

The stateflow function creates an untitled Simulink model that contains an empty Stateflow chart and opens the Stateflow block library without error.
