Test Connection

This section helps you complete the Test Connection step of the Hardware Setup process (using the Hardware Setup screens).

Testing the connection to the autopilot or hardware board is a crucial step in verifying that your selected hardware can communicate with the UAV Toolbox Support Package for ArduPilot^® Autopilots. By following these steps, you will ensure that your hardware is running the correct firmware, enabling reliable communication and operation with the support package.

This screen is displayed only if you select an ArduPilot hardware board, rather than the ArduPilot Host Target, in the Select an ArduPilot board screen.

Click Upload Firmware to upload the ArduPilot firmware and then click Get Accelerometer data. This process might take several minutes to complete.

If the accelerometer values are displayed, then the setup is verified and the hardware is ready for use with Simulink.

This completes the hardware setup process.
