localhost 使用時に MATLABPOOL を実行するとエラーとなるのはなぜですか？

localhost を使用しているにもかかわらず、MATLABPOOL を実行すると以下のようなエラーとなります。

 >>  matlabpool
 Starting matlabpool using the 'local' configuration ... stopped.
 ??? Error using ==> matlabpool at 133
 Failed to start matlabpool.
 This is caused by:
 Attempt to reference field of non-structure array.

また、Configuration Validation を実行すると Distributed Job ステージのところで Failed となります。
