figures got chopped when saved using "print"

Hi everyone~
I plot some figures, and save them to .tif file using "print"
But it often got chopped.
I use the code
set(gcf,'Position',[50 100 1200 500]); % set figure size on screen
set(gcf,'PaperUnits','inches','PaperPosition',[0 0 6 3]); % set figure size for print
print(gcf,'-dtiffn','-r600', name);
Can somebody tell me: whether
set(gcf,'Position',...);
interferes with
set(gcf,'PaperUnits','inches','PaperPosition',...);
?
Why my saved .tif is cropped? How to avoid?
Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks~
