dataset join between date range

I know how to do this in SQL but I can't think of the best way to accomplish it in matlab. I need to do is repeat the value for every day in the date range. This will create a daily time series for each record with one date field. In SQL you can just use a join between, but I don't see that feature in the MATLAB join. Thanks for your help.

ds=dataset({[731965;731994;732023] ,'start_date'},{[731995;732024;732057] ,'end_date'},{[10;15;75] ,'value'})
