datafitting problem with lsqcurvefit

Hello!
I´ve got a problem with the lsqcurvefit command. The command wants, as I have understood it, the xdata and ydata to be 1xn - vectors, but my as I want to optimize the parameters of a function R^2->R which depends of two variables and 3 paramters, my experimental data is a 3 tupel (input1, input2, output). Is there a possibility to use lsqcurvefit nevertheless?
Regards, Martin

Read better the documentation of Fun in the Input Arguments section.

A link like this
http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/en/data/1-17YMU/index.html?solution=1-17YMU
or a similar advice would have helped me more, but thanks nevertheless.
Thank you, I didn't know of that solution, I'll keep it mind for the next time.
And don't misunderstand me, you asked basically if it was possible to use data as a matrix and I answered that question.
