MATLAB won't activate

Hi, I'm a student and have been using MATLAB regularly in the past six months or so. About a week ago, when I launch MATLAB it says I need to activate (like I did when I first installed MATLAB on my computer). I activate manually with my license file and it says 'activation is complete', but then MATLAB isn't launched and when I open it again it needs to activate all over again. I'd like to know what the problem is. I desperately need my MATLAB! :( Thanks!

I had the same problem after converting from the free 30-day trial to an officially purchased student license. I called the help number (508-647-7000) and they walked me through deleting the trial license and making sure Matlab went to the newly purchased license. It took all of 5 minutes and I'm up and running.
