Bad quality Matlab Graphics Plot

I have plotted 2D and 3D data imported from excell.The quality of the Matlab graphics is really bad. I have 7500 points but it looks like about 200. The data should show a multi-model distribution but the graphics is so poor that it cannot be seen. Am I plotting the data incorrectly ??
