How can I curve fitting data for an specific function?

I have a chart which has 2 types of data (one for the time and the other one for a measured variable). I need to curve fit those data to find a function like this: y= A*sin(2*pi*f+ang). It requires finding A, f, and ang which best curve fitting those data. What is the process that I can applied to achieve this objective? Have You any documentation to do that?
