Tacho feedback in a servo

Hi. I've been struggling with this for a little while, and I felt that it was time to ask for some help.
My university has a servo which can have tacho feedback connected. I know that tacho feedback is a voltage proportional to the rotational velocity of a DC motor, and that it's fed back to an error amplifier, where the real speed is compared to the desired speed and the dc motor is adjusted appropriately.
The problem arises when I need to use Matlab to simulate tach feedback. I have no idea how to do this. I know the gain of the tacho-generator and the transfer function of the servomechanism. I'm guessing I need to take the subtract it from the final desired output or something, but that doesn't give the right output. I guess I really have been struggling to understand how to turn the nature of tacho feedback into an equation.
Any assistance you can provide would be very greatly appreciated. I've been struggling with this for 3 hours already and I'm about to give in.

Hello, I need a motor like that one, like, that specific one. Do youu remember what model it was or how can I find one that is similar?

If you use simulink for DC motor position control, use motor output speed wm in rad/sec from measurement block. convert equivalent voltage of tacho from the speed information by using gain block.
