We don't do extensive algorithm development, especially for OCR.
You can look at http://iris.usc.edu/Vision-Notes/bibliography/contentschar.html#OCR,%20Document%20Analysis%20and%20Character%20Recognition%20Systems to find an algorithm and code it up, then ask us specific questions about syntax, error messages, etc.
