image segmentation best methods

hi i have a retinal blood vessels segmentation project and i know a lot of methods for image segmentation,but i don't know which of them works properly in this case,do you have any idea about which methods is useful for retinal blood vessels segmentation?is there any code that you suggested?

There are tons of different algorithms used in lots of different modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, etc.) over lots of different body parts.
