Dear all
I have 15 different images of the same scene, I've divide each image using mat2cell. I would like to estimate shift between reference and the image to be registered, cell by cell. What should I do

You might find it useful to estimate the srt transformation using surf. Have a look at the examples on this page

Why not just use the imregister() built in to the Image Processing Toolbox?

Thank you for your advice. I've used the imregister()for my images but the results were not good. My images are digital tomosynthesis projection images. Do you have any suggestion for registration these images to improve the accuracy?

No, sorry. Are you sure there is a better registration possible? Were you able to do better through manual shifting of the image? And imregister just never happened to find the same shift as you did manually?
