How to interface matlab code with CCS?

Hi everyone Im doing a university project where i need to program dsk320c6713 kit (tms320c6713 DSP) to perform as an audio recorder and playback and use a filter for a better output sound!! (i chose kaiser filter) I think writing the whole code in matlab and translating it to CCS is the best option, however im not sure how to write the whole code in matlab neither how to translate it!! Anybody can help me out here plz?? any hint or sample code would be great! the whole code would be just awesome!! CCS v3.1 matlab 2013a Im downloading 2007a now!! its taking me ages..
