Problem using the optimization toolbox

i have to minimize a function f(x) where x is a vector with constraints (ub and lb for x). I choose the fmincon solver and then i specified the strat point as a vector i have the following error and i didn't understand where is my mistake exactly
Error running optimization. In an assignment A(I) = B, the number of elements in B and I must be the same.
