So Simulink 2014a can support most of the sensors in the Galaxy phones working with Android O.S. I wonder whether this means only these blocks can be "deployed" to the phone and nothing else. For example, suppose I am doing a simple algorithm that use some FFT for one of the sensors output and display the result on screen. Is this possible? I mean, is the FFT block (or maybe any other block) deploy-able?

If not, then what is the main benefit then?

You should be able to implement your algorithm (including FFT) and use the result to update the display. Take a look at example: http://www.mathworks.com/help/supportpkg/android/examples/sensor-application.html?prodcode=SL. This walks you through a similar application using a simple low pass filter.
