Correct way of using blockproc

I have a matrix, and a function similar to
function val = name(matWin, a, b, c)
What is the right way of calling blockproc and passing all the arguments of the function, so i can apply it to discrete 8x8 blocks in my original matrix?

blockproc(YourMatrix, [m n], @(S) name(S.data, a, b, c))
