Image processing - Object/people tracking and their boundary boxes - Simulink

1 次查看(过去 30 天)
Hey
Right, I am currently working on an object/people tracking model using simulink. I have relatively little experience with MATLAB & Simulink (around 3-4 weeks) so i have much to learn.
I have built a couple of tracking models using both background estimation and the optical flow techniques and both detect movement in a variety of videos nicely. My problem is when i try to put a boundary box around the objects. I either end up with multiple boundary boxes around 'blobs' belonging to the same object, or a single bounding box which covers multiple objects when they are close together.
I am after a method of joining 'blob's belonging to the same object whilst being able to distinguish the difference between two objects close together (within a set distance from eachother). I have seen the vehicle and object tracking demo's n matlab, but as i said i find their blocks extremely complicated and almost impossible to understand. I obviously realise this is quite a complicated task but i am sure someone will be able to point me in the right direction or provide me with a method to follow.
Many thanks in advance.
Regards
Greg
