mexopts.bat error while simulating model

I am using matlab 2009b version,& when i try to simulate model it gives me error as mentioned in the screenshot added. some mexopts.bat is required. I checked on net & found some solution but these were talking about version 2010a/b or so... based on the inputs from solutions on net, is it compulsory to have Visual studio 2008 & Microsoft SDK to simulate model? is there any work around for the same? FYI I am using windows 7 64 bit OS & matlab version is also 64bit the exact version is as follows
