i need to detect numbers but since there is light the 0 becomes 8 example given , how i can correct this , i need to detect the digits

First, use a rotatable polarizer in front of the lens if you can. Then use a template that looks only at pixels in the template, not elsewhere.

i make photo with mobile phone i dont know what is polarizer i want to use matlab image processing to fix it
