How to install or add 'install_addon.m' file?

I want to install simmechanics link software to import CAD file from Solidworks. So, I did download install_addon.m file and simlink.r2013a.win64.zip file. But, I do not know how to install or add 'install_sddon.m' file.
I followed this site.

However, I had a same problem.
Undefined function 'install_addon' for input arguments of type 'char'.
How can I solve this probpem?

Given the error message, Undefined function 'install_addon' for input arguments of type 'char', it sounds like MATLAB can't find the function. Where have you added this file? Is it in the MATLAB search path?

I can't even download install_addon.m,it is nowhere to be found

I downloaded it with the r2018b version.
