Default matlab version when several installed on the same pc?

I've got MATLAB R2014a installed and working ok, but recently installed R2009a to do some backward compatibility tests. The tests went ok, but now it seems that R2009a has be come the default rather than 2014a (wrt file type association etc). Can I keep both installations, but change it back so R2014a is the default (without uninstalling and reinstalling R2014a).

Have you tried going into your normal MATLAB working folder using windows explorer and right clicking on any .m file selecting open with and MATLAB R2014a ought to be in the list.
