Hi, I saw a matlab program, its generator polynomial of convolutional code is writen as mem=4,gen=[19 29]. What's the meaning? Thank you.

mem=4,
gen=[19 29]
The meaning of the code is:
4 is assigned to the variable mem
The array [19 29] is assigned to the variable gen

I know that if gen is [7,5], the matrix is [1,1,1;1,0,1], what is the matrix of [19 29]. And does the gen=[23 35] have the same mem as [19 29]? Thank you.
