I'm not sure if this is an appropriate question for the forum. If it isn't, please let me know.
I routinely make Matlab line plots that include 12 - 15 lines. However, design is not my strong point and I can tell they don't look great. I have searched online for line plot design ideas and have found good advice on how to choose colors that the color blind can discern, but just haven't found anything that offers templates or ideas for presenting many lines on one plot so that the viewer is best able to distinguish the lines.
This seems like the kind of thing that people here might have thought about and I thought I would ask if anyone knows a good source of tips or templates. Thank you.

You're wellcome.
In exporting plot in a good quality, all the resources that I can bring you is the exportgraphics() function, and, as a user-made function which is described as 'export images and plots in publication quality', the export_fig.m function, which you can obtain it in the MATLAB File exchange. In my short experience in exporting images with this aplications, I just can say that are very similar.
