How can i use ds-u02 webcam to appear in axes?

Hi guys, I have a code

The purpose is to make the camera appear on axes, but when the button is clicked, the camera lights up blue but the axes still can't show the video.

function pushbutton2_Callback(hObject, eventdata, handles)

vid1 = videoinput('winvideo', 1);

handles.axes2 = suplot(1,2,1);

axes(handles.axes2);

handleToImageInAxes2 = image(zeros(800,600));

preview(vid1, handleToImageInAxes2);

Anyone have any new ideas?
