I want to add white gaussian noise with a specific variance. How can I accomplish this by using either wgn or awgn functions?
Can I do something like that,
out = awgn(in, var=1);

Hi,
In the wgn function, if you set the power type to linear i.e. watts, the power of the noise signal is the variance itself.
So, you can generate Gaussian noise of variance noiseVar for a signal of dimensions m x n as follows.
wgn(m,n,noiseVar,'linear')
