poly1 gives error "insufficient data"

I'm using poly11 to fit some data and keep getting this error
Error using fit>iFit (line 269)
Insufficient data.
You need at least 2 data points to fit this model.
Do you know what causes this? Thanks. The array is called data and when I check its dimensions, it seems as if there is enough data.

ny =

What casuses this?
