max rows using grpstats function

I am currently using the 'grpstats' function on a dataset with approximately 1,200,000 rows. Is there a row limit when using this function? I know when using the 'nominal' function we cannot have more then 65,534 unique variables. Is there a similar limitation when using the function 'grpstats'?
