What's a Windows text editor that supports Matlab syntax highlighting?

6 次查看(过去 30 天)
I'm using Matlab remotely, with ssh to get the Matlab command line and, currently, WinScp's internal editor for editing files (Notepad/Wordpad are no better). My connection speeds are too slow for remote desktop to be feasible. Naturally, I've tried just using Matlab itself as the editor but WinScp doesn't know how to launch it. (It opens a new instance every time, the file I selected isn't shown.)
So, the question--are there any other editors out there that support Matlab's syntax highlighting? I.e., can read an m-file and color the text appropriately, as one is accustomed to seeing in the Matlab editor?

Word. After posting, I found Crimson , which has nicer colors imho but I'm pretty sure is outdated at this point. But Notepad++ looks very solid.

SynWrite is stable, and it is extremely fast! You can install it as a lite version (without project managment, etc.) and also as a program which does not need to be registered in your Windows system, just copy the folder to a USB stick or your hard disk drive and start to use it. It brings everything you might need: has code folding, and very extensive options for search and replace (even acting on all files in a folder, if you wish so). At the same time very well organized and easy to use.
