How to smooth out the blocky appearance of segmented volume object

I am reconstructing a 3D object from the stack of 2d segmented images. However, for the outer surface I get a blocky/noisy (not so smooth/even) appearance for outer surface due to voxels. How can I smooth out the surface of 3D object?
