The "Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) ephemeris" is a source of astronomical data on the planets, their moons,
and other objects. It is written in Python. Has anyone been able to access this resource using MATLAB and
download data on, say the time-dependent motions of the planets? I'm looking to download [ t, X(t), Y(t), Z(t) ] data for the 9 planets in
(hopefully) tabular form so that I can write a MATLAB script to read them and do calculations with them. I suppose an intermediate step
would be fair to use, i.e., use Python to do the work of getting the data into a file in MATLAB-compatible formats, say as text, and
then save them, and then load those data into MATLAB.
