To validate that your cluster profile is working correctly, follow the below steps:
- Open MATLAB and navigate to the Home tab in the ribbon.
- In the "Environment" group, click on the Parallel dropdown.
- In the dropdown, select Create and Manage Clusters....
- In the Cluster Profile Manager window that just opened, there may be multiple Cluster Profiles (on the left-hand side). Select the one you would like to validate.
- In the ribbon of the Cluster Profile Manager, click the Validate button to run the validation process.
This will run up to five tests as part of a validation process, and display the results to you live.
Once the validation process is complete, if desired, see more details by clicking on Show Report in the bottom right of the Cluster Profile Manager. You can also save the results to a text file by clicking Save Report...

Note: The built-in "Threads" profile can only be validated in the validated from R2025a onwards.
