The error could be caused by one of the following reasons:
  • Licensing issue.
  • Recursion in the "startup" MATLAB script: make sure that your "startup" M file is not causing the initializing error.
  • It could be one of the toolboxes causing the issue. If the issue persists after trying out all the necessary troubleshooting steps, try reinstalling MATLAB with only a few toolboxes that you need and see if it solves the issue.
