Hi, this is more a statistic question. I have to find the minimum of a complex distribuition. So I decided to select the values close to the minimum (evaulueted by myself) and do an automatic fitting of a parabola trough the 2 points before and the 2 after the point of minimum. Then I found the minimum by the formula

of the equation

The problem is that I dont know what error best fit the result. The fitting box gave me some parameters of the goodness of the fit but I don't know how to enterpretate them...
