plot of cosine function

Hello guys..

I want to plot L.H.S and R.H.S of the function below:-

cos βd = [cos (k*d) + (111/2k) * sin (k*d)]

d=.01 (fixed)

k= variable from 5 to 1000 with a step of 0.1

The RHS has all values known to be simulated.

So, LHS has also to be simulated accordingly so that RHS and LHS are equal.

The LHS plot shown in the attachment is what i am looking for..such that Y axis has (kd) and X axis has (βd)..

Please help guys.

I am new to MATLAB.
