Recall previous command MatLab app? Arrow key doesn’t work

Hi, running the MatLab app on an iPad pro gen4 12.9" along with a Logitech slim folio pro keyboard case.
Annoyingly, pressing the up arrow key doesn't recall previous commands like it does on the PC version. Anyone know if I can change this?

To add - just tried MatLab online with the iPad and the arrow key recalls previous commands as normal.

To clarify, you are using MATLAB Mobile on your ipad. MATLAB apps are something else.
To get your command history in MATLAB Mobile, click on the icon of a clock with the CCW arrow around it in the top right.
