how to dynamically assign data to a variable

for ii=1:20
assignin('base', ['PClean_',num2str(ii)],ActualReading(1:end,17));
PClean=['PClean_%d',ii];
I wish to assign data of PClean_1,PClean_2,PClean_3,PClean_4....and so on to PClean but i am not able to assign it for each loop

Dynamic and variable should really never be in the same sentence :)
