Numerical solution for the conventional wave equation

Considering the well-defined wave equation,
I have a difficulty in plotting the wave propagation u(x,t) for a series of time steps using Matlab script. Any comments and suggestion would be appreciated!
P.S. The boundary conditions can be periodic.
