Matlab Simulink Mask - where is the Documentation tab conversion from R2021b to R2022a

1 次查看(过去 30 天)
Dear Matlab Community,
I have been working on a library for some time in matlab Simulink. In the mask editor in R2021b there was a tab for documentation. Here i would place some information about the model as well as the initialisation code.
In R2022a the mask environment has changed. The same library file, opened in R2022a doesnt show a documentation tab. I could find a documentation tab in Parameters & Dialog but is greyed out.
My question regarding this is:
How can I find the documentation of my simulink mask in R2022a?
or, How can I add it manually in R2022b (hopefully future version proof)?
With kind regards,
Jan Boone

Hi Jan,
Based on the information provided, it seems that you are facing difficulty in locating the documentation tab within the Mask Editor in MATLAB R2022a, after upgrading from MATLAB R2021b.
In MATLAB R2022a, the Mask Editor has undergone some changes and now offers enhanced capabilities, allowing users to perform masking operations more efficiently. As a result, the documentation tab, which was previously a separate section in the Mask Editor in R2021b, has been integrated into the Parameters & Dialog tab.
I recommend you refer to the Mask Editor bullet in the Component-Based Modelling section of the release notes for Simulink. This resource will provide you with more detailed information on how to add documentation to your mask and familiarize you with the changes made in R2022a.
I hope this helps you in adding documentation to your mask.
