How to plot surface temperature values in a map

Hi all.
I am trying to create a geographical map of surface temperature measurements. I have three vectors. One for the latitude of the measurements, one for the longitude, and one for the surface temperture in each pair of latitude and longitude values. With geomap I have been able to plot a map with the latitude and longitude points but how can I then specify the value of the surface temperature in each of those points and add a bar legend?
