I2C example for Embedded Coder

Hello,
I have been trying to work with following I2C communication example model for eZDSP board for F28335 controller
http://in.mathworks.com/help/supportpkg/texasinstrumentsc2000/ug/using-the-i2c-bus-to-access-a-connected-eeprom.html
The model does not seem to work with the eZDSP board. there is no communication on SDA line.
does any one knows if this example works with ezDSP board for F28335
