I do not manage to send data using the Matlab exemple for wifi. I have no problem using the Ethernet shield.

The program is correctly deployed on the arduino and the connection is working. The green led link in on and when i try to ping on the IP it works.

Using the Simulink host model: TCP/IP Host Send, when I clic on verify dress and port connectivity it says that the adresse is recognized but not the port.

Can somebody help me please.

Did you ever get the WiFi shield working? I had a similar problem, I fixed it by changing the port number that was given as a default. Port 80 worked for me. But the TCP Receive program froze whenever I tried to run it. I was wondering if you ever had trouble with that and if so, did you fix it?

Hey, I had a similar issue with the Wifi shield. After deploying the program to the Arduino, the Green LED LINK lighted up. However, when I tried pinging / verify port connectivity it would fail.

What I did was to upgrade the Firmware on the Wifi Shield: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Hacking/WiFiShieldFirmwareUpgrading and now it works fine.
