Disable Import window pop-up when "Command + V"

3 次查看(过去 30 天)
I've recently updated to R2022a on MacOS Monterey v12.2.
Whenever I try to paste code in the Editor window using Command + V, the import data wizard window automatically pops up. It's driving me insane. Any ideas on how to stop this?

Hi Kent,
To stop the import data wizard window from automatically popping up when you paste code in the Editor window, you can try the following steps:
  1. Open MATLAB R2022a.
  2. Go to the "Preferences" menu by clicking on "MATLAB" in the menu bar and selecting "Preferences."
  3. In the Preferences window, select the "Keyboard" category.
  4. Under the "Keyboard" category, click on the "Shortcuts" tab.
  5. Look for the shortcut binding for "Paste" and make sure it is set to "Command + V." also look for the binding for Import, and clear if any exist for import.
  6. If the binding is already set correctly, try changing it to a different combination (e.g., "Option + V") and then change it back to "Command + V."
  7. Click the "Apply" button to save the changes.
  8. Close the Preferences window and try pasting code in the Editor window again using Command + V
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
