Modelling a voltage controlled current source

8 次查看(过去 30 天)
Hi!
I have a school project, where i need to simulate the blindig of protecion and sympathetic tripping defense problems. I'd like to model a current source that responds to the voltage drop caused by a fault. I'm using the controlled current source block for it. The constant block has the effective power value which gets divided by the rms value of the voltage so it should give me the current. My problem is that when i connect this block to my circuit it doesnt do anything. I'd like to ask what is the problem with my model?

This looks like it creates an algebraic loop. It's easier to do this type of modelling using simcape: https://www.mathworks.com/learn/tutorials/circuit-simulation-onramp.html
and use this block to model a dynamic load: https://www.mathworks.com/help/physmod/sps/ref/dynamicload.html
Regards,
Joel
